My life-long interest in weather brought me to the University of Oklahoma where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and minor in Broadcast Journalism.

After school, I spent four years in the heart of Tornado Alley at KFDX-TV in Wichita Falls, TX. There I covered every kind of breaking weather possible: tornadoes, floods, fires, droughts, and winter storms.

I traded Tornado Alley for Hurricane Alley when I began working at WLOX-TV in Biloxi, MS. Within my first year, I covered Hurricane Nate making landfall directly over the TV station during the historic 2017 Hurricane Season.

I spend much of my free time shooting landscape photography with my Canon T6. I'm a regular at every coffee shop on the coast of Mississippi. I'm a big supporter of local restaurants and arts.
